Town Council, Inland Wetlands and PZC all meeting this week.

Here is a look at what's on the agenda for the coming week in town government.
Town Council
The Enfield Town Council will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. Among the items to be discussed will be a resolution accepting the proposal of the Martha A. Parsons Memorial Trust for property located at 2 Broad Brook Rd., site of the former Enfield Grange. The council also will discuss a resolution regarding the 2011 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program. Council members will be spending a long day working on the town budget on Saturday, April 9.

Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency
Among the new items to be discussed is the repair of approximately 100 feet of collapsed retaining wall on the south side of Freshwater Brook behind Asnuntuck Street. The agency will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.

Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on three applications at its Thursday meeting. Special use permits have been requested for live entertainment with a restaurant liquor license for LuLu's Restaurant on Hazard Ave., a confined space simulator at the Enfield Fire District on Weymouth Rd., and a contractor's yard for CT Valley Landscaping on King St. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
Board of Education
The school board's next regular meeting will be Tuesday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. The agenda for that meeting should be posted shortly at www.enfieldschools.org.
