Throwback Thursday: Do You Remember...?

In this weekly series, Enfield Patch publishes a photo of a business or landmark in town that is no longer in existence.

Today we remember the 190 East Lounge and Cafe, located in the old Enfield Outlet Mall on Hazard Avenue (currently the site of Barnes & Noble, Bob’s and Michael’s, among others).

The 190 East was one of Enfield’s most popular watering holes in the 1970s and 1980s. At one point, the facility was expanded into two sections, with one side being designated a “juice bar” for those under 21.

Among the owners of the club were Tony Scalia, who died in 2005; Joe Cerrato, who passed away two years later; Lou Tallarita; Corey Fisher; and James Alaimo.
