A photo and story of a business from Enfield's past.

ENFIELD, CT - In this weekly series, Enfield Patch publishes a photo of a business or landmark in town that is no longer in existence.

For many years, customers flocked to the brick building with the blue facade and an awning at the junction of Elm Street and Hazard Avenue: the Enfield Pharmacy.

Longtime pharmacist James Agro was a fixture at the business, working there from 1962 until 1992.
