Throwback Thursday: Do You Remember...?

A photo and story of a business from Enfield's past.

In this weekly series, Enfield Patch publishes a photo of a business or landmark in town that is no longer in existence.

Today we return to the photo book Enfield: 1950-1980 for a 1960s view of Russotto’s Bowling & Billiards in downtown Thompsonville.

This business, owned by Joseph B. Russotto, was located on Central Street, just east of Pearl Street. The first floor of the building once housed the Enfield Police Department.

By 1969, the building was vacant; on June 24 of that year, it was destroyed by fire.
