Training Trimming DMV's Hours For A Day
The Enfield DMV office will have limited hours on Tuesday.

Hours at some Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be adjusted because of DMV staff training for a new program affecting driver’s license and identification card renewals.
Enfield is included.
The DMV will start the SelectCT ID program in October. It will offer the option of a verified identity for anyone renewing a driver's license and a DMV-issued identification card. The verification process involves a review of primary identity documents, such as a birth certificate or passport.
Through the SelectCT ID program, the department will ask renewing customers whether they want to show original identity documents to establish a record of their identity with the agency as well as for federal identification purposes. Customers can also reject the verification and simply get a regular driver's license or ID card.
For more information, visit the program’s Web site.
