Two Officers Promoted, New Patrolman Sworn In at Enfield Police Ceremony

Nicole Martel-Moylan and Bryan Nolan are Enfield's newest sergeants, while Roberto Felici joins the ranks.

The Enfield Police Department promoted a pair of officers to sergeants and added a new, yet very experienced officer to its ranks at a ceremony Friday.

Officers Nicole Martel-Moylan and Bryan Nolan are the newest sergeants on the police force.

"Nicole is always positive, always upbeat, but more than anything she knows how to be part of a team, as she is an integral part of our national accreditation team," Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said. "Bryan knows all about being a team leader and being part of a team."

"It's still surreal, it hasn't quite hit home yet," Martel-Moylan said after being pinned by her dad, Denis Martel, and her son Taevan. "My father has been integral in my promotion; he's been pushing me for years to have the confidence in myself and the fortitude to push through."

After being pinned by his wife Kristen, Nolan thanked all of his supporters, including members of the fire department with which he has served for many years.

Newly sworn into the department was Roberto Felici, who served with the Longmeadow Police Department for six years, then worked a stint in Clearwater, FL.

"He's been a firearms instructor, internal affairs, narcotics - we are very lucky to have him on board," Sferrazza said.

Felici had his badge pinned by his mother, Polly.

"I am  very blessed and honored for you to have me," he humbly said.
