Ujima African American A Receives $1500.00 Grant from Eversource

Enfield, CT, April 2, 2024 – The Ujima African Alliance is delighted to announce the receipt of a $1500.00 grant from Eversource, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to supporting charitable initiatives in the Enfield community. This grant will contribute to the success of Ujima's third annual celebration of the Juneteenth Festival scheduled for June 15th, 2024, and further our mission of educating, inspiring, and fostering inclusivity within the African American community in Enfield, CT.

"This grant will enable us to continue our work of building bridges, fostering trust, and nurturing a sense of community for all residents, with a special focus on the African American community.
