Untimely Death at Enfield Motel Being Investigated

An unidentified man was found dead at the Red Roof Inn early Friday afternoon, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — Police are investigating what is being called "an untimely death" which was reported at an Enfield motel early Friday afternoon.

Deputy Police Chief Gary Collins said officers were dispatched shortly after noon to the Red Roof Inn on Hazard Avenue, where the body of a man believed to be in his 50s was discovered.

Collins did not release any more information about the death, stating the man's next of kin had yet to be notified.
