Valedictorian, Salutatorian Named At Enfield High School
The top two academic achievers in class rank have been announced at Enfield High School.

ENFIELD, CT — The top two academic achievers at Enfield High School have been announced as the school's valedictorian and salutatorian.
Hannah Phelps will be the class valedictorian, while Aaron Longo has earned the title of salutatorian.
During her time in high school, Phelps has served as the Student Council Vice President, President of the National Honor Society and President of the French Honor Society. She has also been involved in the Connecticut Association of Schools and Girl Scouts. Additionally, she volunteers within the Hartford Hospital summer program and has donated more than 200 hours of her time. Finally, she has received awards such as the National Merit Scholarship, the Cornell Book Award and the AAPPL Seal of Biliteracy in French.

Phelps, the daughter of Dena and Robert Phelps, plans on attending Smith College to study Political Science/Government and Social Policy before ultimately becoming an international human rights lawyer.
Longo has been a member of the National Honor Society, Connecticut Association of Schools, Buzz Robotics, Computer Club, the UConn Early College Experience Duct Tape Boat Race, Cross Country and Track & Field. He is also the recipient of the Merit Award from the Society of Women Engineers and the Yale Book Award.

The son of Daisy Lee-Longo and John Longo, Longo will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute to double major in Robotics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, with plans to attain a Master’s in either or both fields.
