Valedictorian, Salutatorian Named At Enfield High School
The top two academic achievers from the Enfield High School Class of 2020 have been announced.

ENFIELD, CT — Administrators at Enfield High School have announced the top two academic achievers from the Class of 2020, who will be recognized as valedictorian and salutatorian.
Sean Suleski, son of Richard and Linda Suleski, is the valedictorian. He was co-captain of the cross country team, a member of indoor and outdoor track and field, front ensemble section leader in marching band, percussion section leader in concert band, treasurer of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, founder of the Math Help Center and the peer Math Tutoring system, member of the National Honor Society, Connecticut Association of Schools, and the Superintendent Advisory Group. He was chosen to attend the Connecticut Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference as well as the New England Student Leadership Conference. He has also received awards such as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Award, CAS Governor's Scholars semifinalist, the AAPPL Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and the Harvard-Radcliffe Book Prize. He will attend Northeastern University with a major in Mechanical Engineering and plans to pursue a career in robotics. He also plans on joining Northeastern’s club running team and Boston University’s marching band.
The Class of 2020 salutatorian is Arvind Kasiliya, son of Kubendran Kasiliya and Sujeetha Ayyalunattamai. During his time in high school, he has served as head programmer for Buzz Robotics and secretary of the National Honor Society, and a member of Model U.N., Youth Vote Club, Chess Club and the tennis team. He has received awards such as the APPL Seal of Biliteracy in French, Yale Book Award and the National Merit Letter of Commendation. He plans on attending the University of Connecticut to major in Computer Science and eventually earn a Master’s.
