Vernon E. Ellis, 57; Lifelong Enfield Resident, U.S. Air Force Veteran
Mr. Ellis worked for Konica Minolta and enjoyed fishing, catching many trophy specimens.

Vernon Edward Ellis, 57, of Enfield, CT, left his beloved family here on earth to visit his father in heaven on Friday, June 5, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital under very watchful care.
Vern was born September 17, 1957, in Meriden, CT the son of Sandra (Slaney) Ellis of Enfield and the late Vernon B. Ellis.
Vern was a lifelong resident of Enfield and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was employed with Konica Minolta in Windsor for the last 22 years.

Vern loved fishing and hunting and even caught several trophy fish over the years.
In addition to his mother he is also survived by three children, his son, Michael Edward Ellis, Sr. and his wife, Lisa; daughters, Jessica McDonald, also in the U.S.A.F. and Tina Taylor Addison; six grandchildren, Michael Ellis, Jr., Reese Ellis, Aryana McDonald, Luke McDonald, Madison Merciers and Miley Addison and his girlfriend, Shelley Block.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff in MSICU 5th floor unit for the wonderful and personal attentive care Vern received.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to them to help defer the costs or to a charity of your choice.
