Virtual Healthcare and Personal Services Career Open House at ACC

Are you looking for a career in the healthcare field or the personal services industry? Asnuntuck Community College’s Continuing Education department will be hosting a Healthcare and Personal Services Careers Virtual Open House on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Registration is required via the website.

The Open House will showcase the College’s in-demand career programs, various short-term certification programs, and our expert instructors.

Learn about healthcare and personal services licensure programs and potential SNAP scholarships. Fourteen different non-credit career programs are available at Asnuntuck. They include Medical Billing & Coding (CPC-Certified Professional Coder); Certified Pharmacy Technician; CNA/Certified Patient Care Technician; Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); Electrocardiogram (ECG) Technician; Dental Assistant; Sterile Processing Technician; Ophthalmic Assistant; Veterinary Assistant; Esthetician; Nail Technician; Personal Trainer, as well as the new Cosmetology and Medical Interpreter programs.

The college has designed a state-of-the-art facility for the new Cosmetology program, where students are receiving their hands-on cosmetology and hairdressing education.
