Volunteers Needed and Orientation

Enfield Safe Harbor Warming Center will be open overnights starting 12/1/2024-4/1/2025.
We will be operating from 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT, St. Patrick’s Church Hall
We are looking for volunteers to help us as we serve the homeless.
We will be having an orientation on Friday November 22, 2024 at 630pm
@Weaver Hall 64 Pearl street (St. Patrick’s Church).

Volunteer Opportunities @Safe Harbor Warming Center location
Outreach and Engagement 630pm-830pm only
Set-up and Break-down
Assist guests with selecting needed items (guest are not to handle items)
Assist with organizing supplies/donations as needed
Assist with frequent cleaning/wiping of tables as needed

Assisting Support Staff, 6pm nightly
Set-up for the evening
Assist with serving food and beverages
Assist with organizing supplies/donations as needed
Assist staff during check-in
Serve guest snacks and beverages
Assist guests to prepare for the overnights
Assist with cleaning and breakdown

***Overnights are optional and must be approved by the Executive Director
