Wanted Man Turns Himself In to Enfield Police
He is charged with assault, weapon and narcotics violations, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — A Plainville man turned himself in at Enfield police headquarters Wednesday night after his photo and description had been published as being at large with a pair of felony warrants earlier in the week.
Brian Ewing, 20, was charged with second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree breach of peace and sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $50,000.
Police had obtained warrants for Ewing's arrest in connection with a pair of crimes in late 2016.

On Nov. 17, the North Central Narcotics Task Force set up a purchase of crack cocaine from Ewing on Spring Street, where an undercover officer bought drugs from him. Investigators were later able to obtain a warrant to arrest him.
Just over a month later, on Dec. 19, Ewing is alleged to have gotten into an argument with another individual over use of a car. Ewing reportedly struck the other person in the face with a hammer, causing a considerable amount of bleeding and necessitating a trip to an area hospital for stitches, Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.

The person who was struck told police he only knew Ewing by the nickname "Bucky" and showed officers Ewing's Facebook profile, Sferrazza said.
