Woman Accused of Assaulting Police Officer
Officer and two suspects hospitalized following domestic incident.

An Enfield police officer was injured in a late afternoon domestic incident Wednesday at a Thompsonville apartment.
The officer was on patrol when he overheard a loud argument at 3-B Thistle Lane between a woman and her 17-year-old son. When the officer went to investigate, the situation got more volatile, prompting the officer to call for backup, Lt. William Zaczynski said.
The parties refused to heed the officer's orders to stop fighting, and as he attempted to place them under arrest, the woman struck him in the leg, causing him to collapse to the ground, Zaczynski said.
