WWE Hall of Famer Headed for Enfield
Several big name stars will be appearing in Enfield for the second anniversary show of Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling.

ENFIELD, CT — The Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame has been in existence a full two decades longer than Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling, but in late August, the two organizations will join forces to bring a WWE Hall of Famer and several other legends to the town of Enfield.
Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling is celebrating its second anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 26 by presenting “Time Bomb” at the gymnasium of the former Enrico Fermi High School at 124 North Maple Street. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with bell time scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1995 which recognizes outstanding athletic accomplishments by individuals and teams from town.

Former WWE superstars Al Snow, Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly will also be part of “Time Bomb,” with Holly scheduled in a singles match against Chris “Dirty Daddy” Dickinson. Former TNA Knockouts champion Mia Yim (formerly known as Jade) will also be in action, just two days before appearing on television in the WWE’s inaugural 32-woman Mae Young Classic, taking on the popular Skylar.

Blitzkrieg! owner Jeremy Leary said the variety of talent currently on the promotion’s roster has enabled the organization to grow rapidly since debuting in Enfield in Aug. 2015.
”It took two years, but we're finally really discovering our identity as an independent wrestling company,” he said. “We're carving out our own niche with a very well-balanced blend of wrestling. We have something for everyone.”
