WWE Hall of Famer Heading for Enfield
He will join a WWE Attitude Era star and some of the finest talent in the Northeast at a special anniversary show Saturday in Enfield.

ENFIELD, CT — One of the biggest stars - literally - in World Wrestling Entertainment history will be appearing in Enfield this Saturday as part of a huge outdoor independent pro wrestling show.
Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling is celebrating its one-year anniversary by presenting "Them Versus Us" at the Mount Carmel Park, and WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has signed on to make an in-ring appearance.
Under the moniker of Diesel, the 6-foot-10 Nash wore the WWE heavyweight championship belt for nearly a year, and also held the Intercontinental and tag team championship belts at various times in his career.

He gained notoriety in 1996 by joining colleague Scott Hall in a move to World Championship Wrestling, the archrival of WWE, and adding the legendary Hulk Hogan to the group which came to be known as the New World Order. Under his real name, he captured the WCW heavyweight title on five different occasions.
Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.

Also appearing will be Gangrel, a WWE star in the late 1990s and early 2000s during what was termed the "Attitude Era." He will be performing in a special six-man tag team attraction.
A number of great matchups featuring some of the top independent talent in the Northeast are scheduled on the card, including a seven-man elimination match for the Blitzkrieg! Bedlam Championship, and the second annual Erik Newton Memorial Battle Royal.
Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling founder Jeremy Leary says he is thrilled to see the independent professional wrestling organization grow, despite early obstacles such as a forced name change for the company.
"It's so gratifying to see this little thing that we started grow so much in only a year that we're able to have absolute legends like Kevin Nash at our show, doing an in ring appearance, and doing meet and greets with our rad fans," Leary said. "It shows that the sky's the limit for Blitzkrieg! Pro."
Front row tickets for the Aug. 27 show are sold out, but a few second-row tickets are available for $25 apiece. General admission tickets are $20, and fans who buy four general admission tickets receive a fifth free. Tickets for children age 12 and under are $15.
The Mount Carmel Society will have a variety of great food items available for purchase before and during the show.
