Valley Regional High School Field Hockey Team ranks number seven!
ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — Two weeks into the new field hockey season, a panel of Connecticut field hockey coaches has issued its first poll ranking the top teams in the state. According to an article written by Patch Staffer Tim JensenValley Regional High School's team is among the top ten, currently ranked number seven. Go Valley!

- Farmington
- Guilford
- Glastonbury
- Valley Regional
- Old Saybrook
- Wethersfield
- Granby
Also receiving votes: Greenwich, Ridgefield, Pomperaug, Hall, Daniel Hand, North Branford, Conard, Joel Barlow, Bethel, Stonington, Wilton.
