$100,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Fairfield

The lucky winner is a Bridgeport resident, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

FAIRFIELD, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Fairfield, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, the person claimed a winning $500,000 CASHWORD ticket that was bought at the Super Stop & Shop on Villa Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in November 2023, and as of Friday, one grand prize of $500,000 remained unclaimed, and one second place prize of $100,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 1.5 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.78.
