$2 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Fairfield Goes To Trumbull Winner

The $2 million winning Powerball ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A resident of Trumbull is the winner of the $2 million Powerball prize from a ticket sold last week in Fairfield, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

As of Tuesday, the name of the winner had not been disclosed, only that the person is a resident of Trumbull.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Cumberland Farms at 1101 Post Road in Fairfield, and the winning numbers were 12, 32, 56, 67 and 68. The Powerball was not matched.

Odds of matching five Powerball numbers are 1 in 11,688,054, according to lottery officials.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, and the estimated jackpot is $360 million. Overall odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338.
