$20,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Fairfield
A Bridgeport resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $20,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Fairfield, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Thursday, Albano Kolonjari claimed a winning "20X Cash 7th Edition" ticket he purchased at News Express on Tunxis Hill Road.
The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in August 2021, and as of Thursday, two grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 2.1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
