$25,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Fairfield
A Fairfield resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, John Dehler claimed a winning "200X 2nd Edition" ticket he purchased at the Shell gas station convenience store on Black Rock Turnpike.
The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began this month, and as of Tuesday, all the million-dollar grand prizes, $100,000 second-place prizes and $50,000 third-place prizes remained unclaimed.

More than 2.4 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
