FAIRFIELD, CT — Al Roker recently paid a visit to Fairfield for a “Today” show segment on package delivery during the holidays.

The television personality joined local United Parcel Service driver Jenny Rosado on her route and even delivered a few packages himself, sharing a friendly fist-bump with one recipient.

Rosado, who has been with UPS for over 30 years, told Roker she delivered more than 200 packages a day during the holiday season, and recounted her experiences from the early days of the coronavirus pandemic.

“It was like a continuation of just more and more packages, because no one could leave their homes,” she said in the segment, which was timestamped online from Wednesday.

In order for U.S. domestic packages to arrive by Christmas Eve, UPS recommends customers ship items three-day select by Dec. 21, second-day air by Dec. 22, or next-day air by Dec. 23, according to UPS. For ground shipping, check wwwapps.ups.com/calTimeCost?loc=en_US.
