Learn About Rivers At Event Celebrating Earth Day In Fairfield

The event, geared to children ages 7 through 10, will be hosted by state Rep. Sarah Keitt and the Mill River Wetland Committee.

FAIRFIELD, CT — State Rep. Sarah Keitt and Fairfield's Mill River Wetland Committee will host an educational event about the area's rivers on April 26 at the Perry Mill Pond Open Space, 798 Sturges Road in Fairfield.

The free event celebrating Earth Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the open space's Joy Shaw Trail.

"This is a hands-on experience to teach children between the ages of 7 and 10 how our rivers affect the land, plants, and animals," organizers said.
