FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield's Board of Finance takes up a package of bond resolutions, led by $54 million for air quality work at Fairfield Warde High School, along with money for an adaptive recreation center and Miracle Field, police headquarters renovations and the town's historic halls.

1. $54 Million For Warde High Air Quality, School Projects
When: Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m. (also by phone)
Where: First Floor Conference Room, Sullivan Independence Hall, 725 Old Post Road
What to know: The Board of Finance will consider bond resolutions including $54,071,154 for the Fairfield Warde High School air quality improvement project, $4,904,488 for design of an addition and alterations at Jennings Elementary School, $739,878 for a Jennings security vestibule, $783,593 for HVAC controls at Stratfield Elementary School, $2,945,346 to replace the artificial turf at Fairfield Ludlowe High School and $375,000 more for the Warde turf project, according to the agenda.

2. Miracle Field, Police Station, Historic Halls Bonds
When: Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m.
Where: First Floor Conference Room, Sullivan Independence Hall, 725 Old Post Road
What to know: Other resolutions on the agenda include $6,268,000 for an adaptive recreation center and "Miracle Field," $2.5 million of it from grants; $4,986,000 to renovate the Police Department; $4,625,466 to renovate Old Town Hall and Sullivan Independence Hall; and $2.5 million more for the 2024 Master Flood Prevention and Lake Mohegan projects, bringing that authorization to $8,530,699.

3. Open Space Panel Discusses Funding
When: Tuesday, Oct. 13, 6 p.m.
Where: Second Floor Conference Room, Sullivan Independence Hall, 725 Old Post Road
What to know: The Land Acquisition Commission will discuss a Sept. 22 meeting with First Selectperson Vitale about funding open space purchases and talk about 80 Congress St., according to the agenda. The town's open space fund had $54,525.36 as of Oct. 7.

4. '1776' And 'Hamilton' Talk At The Fairfield Museum
When: Sunday, Oct. 18, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Fairfield Museum and History Center, 370 Beach Road
What to know: Performer, director and lecturer Michael Langlois compares how the musicals "1776" and "Hamilton," written nearly 50 years apart, portray the founding era, as part of the museum's fall speaker series. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
