“FNLL and the Fairfield Fire Department have a strong and longstanding relationship,” according to Fire Chief Richard Felner, who made arrangements for Firefighter/Paramedic Jeffrey Pinckney to teach a safety clinic to FNLL staff earlier this year. Dr. Bradley Weinstein, a Fairfield Chiropractor and safety/clinic coordinator of FNLL, noted that the Fairfield Fire Department has been holding required safety and first aid clinics for all FNLL coaches and managers over the past few years, and has helped FNLL map out its strategy and action plans to ensure that their ball players stay safe and healthy.

In exchange, FNLL taps into its resources to help Fairfield Fire whenever it can, as it did in this case, with a significant donation. “The Fairfield Fire Department has been a strong supporter and partner of Fairfield National,” observed Dr. Weinstein. “We are happy that we can show our appreciation and gratitude to the department, and look forward to continuing our close partnership.”

Fairfield National Little League runs several baseball programs for children, ages 6 to 13.  Its flagship program is the Spring season that includes over 800 players, along with 200 coaches and managers.  FNLL also runs an All-Star program during the summer season, and has traditionally performed very well against other New England teams.  In addition, FNLL runs a “Fall Ball” program, where young athletes can continue to sharpen their skills and learn about teamwork, camaraderie, and performing their best.
