Bigelow Center Cancels Several Tuesday Programs Due To Weather

With snow in the forecast, several classes and activities will not be held.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Bigelow Center will not hold several programs due to the predicted wintry weather Tuesday. The following classes and activities are canceled: Morning Exercise with Nancy; Zumba with Germaine; Members' Council; the Parkinson's Dance program; the Tea Party with Greens Farms Academy (rescheduled to 9:30 a.m. Dec. 17); and Mastering the Masters.

If Fairfield Public Schools are closed, the Bigelow Center will be closed. If Fairfield Public Schools are delayed, the Bigelow Center will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served if there is a delay. The hotline for Fairfield Public Schools delays and cancellations is 203-255-8255.

Fairfield was predicted to see up to 2 inches of snow accumulation overnight, according to the National Weather Service, with snow possible Tuesday morning. The area is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
