In his presentation, Fairfield author Mike Barlow explores these questions and offers a human-centered perspective on our evolving relationship with AI. Drawing on his new book, The Thinking Mirror, he examines how AI systems subtly influence the way we think, make judgments and respond to the world around us. His goal is not to reject AI, but to face it honestly, with open eyes and the courage to ask which parts of ourselves AI is reflecting—and which parts it’s hiding.
