FAIRFIELD, CT — Pequot Library presents festive and informative programs for the month of December, many of which are free and open to the public. Read on for three holiday-themed community gatherings of note: the Dec. 8 Holiday Caroling Party; the Dec. 9 ticketed reading of “A Christmas Carol” with Shakespeare on the Sound; and the Dec. 12 Menorah Lighting with Chabad of Westport.

Join the library on December 8 at 5:00 p.m. for the beloved Holiday Caroling Party. The following night, on December 9 at 5:30 p.m., you’re invited to a special ticketed reading of “A Christmas Carol” to benefit Pequot Library and Shakespeare on the Sound (SOS). Pequot Library is delighted to pair with SOS for the second year of this popular program. On December 12 at 5:00 p.m., the Chabad of Westport hosts a Menorah Lighting with festivities. Enjoy live music from DJ Marv, swag bags, latkes and donuts. The event is open to the public.
