Chamber Orchestra of Fairfield Holding Inaugural Concert

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Emma Jane von Euler Music Scholarship.

The Chamber Orchestra of Fairfield will hold its inaugural concert in August to benefit the Emma Jane von Euler Music Scholarship.

The scholarship fund was created in honor of Fairfield Ludlowe High School student Emma Jane von Euler, who died in 2009. It is part of the High School Scholarship Foundation of Fairfield’s scholarships.

The orchestra is made up of a mix of professionals, college students and high school level students. Von Euler’s flute instructor Adrianne Greenbaum will be performing in the concert.

A $10 donation is suggested at the door and all proceeds will benefit the fund.

The event will be held Saturday August 8 at 5 p.m. at First Church Fairfield on 148 Beach Road.

Founded by Fairfield native, Darren Ziller, the Chamber Orchestra of Fairfield is currently filing for a not for profit 501 (c) (3) status. Its mission is to provide high level orchestral music to the community while raising money for a cause.
