Classes Canceled Tuesday At Fairfield Public Schools

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.

"Due to inclement weather, all Fairfield Public Schools are closed today, Tuesday, January 16," officials wrote on the district's website. Before and after school activities are canceled.

Snow accumulations were estimated to reach 4 inches on Tuesday in parts of the state, with the storm expected to possibly last to midday.
