Classes Delayed Wednesday At Fairfield Public Schools

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday, Feb. 11, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.

"Due to slick road conditions from freezing rain, FPS will operate on a two-hour delay today, February 11," officials wrote in a statement.

The rest of the statement reads:

• No AM Pre-K.
• Before-school activities and programs are canceled.
• Central Office staff should report at 10:00 a.m.
• Custodial staff should report at their regular time.
