Connecticut Sports Broadcasters Celebrate WFAN Radio's 30th Anniversary
WFAN's Mike McCann, Bob Heussler, Marc Malusis - all Connecticut Residents - at Station's Live Remote Broadcast.

(Left to right): Two of Fairfield, CT. favorite sons and WFAN Radio (660 AM/101.9 FM) update reporters Mike McCann and Bob Heussler are joined by fellow update man John Minko, who has been with the station since its 1987 inception, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of "The FAN," broadcasting from Grand Central Terminal on Thursday, June 22nd. Heussler, known as “Mr. Met” because of his passion for New York’s National League Baseball team, is also the play by play Voice of the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun and Fairfield Stags basketball.

Connecticut resident Marc Malusis (right), WFAN Radio talk show host and SNY television commentator, is pictured with John Cirillo, president of Cirillo World public relations, at the celebration of the FAN’s 30th anniversary at Grand Central Terminal this past Thursday, June 22nd. Malusis, known as “Moose,” is the former producer of the acclaimed “Mike and The Mad Dog” radio program, and has been with the station since since 2000. Cirillo, regarded as one of the top publicity executives in sports, represents the Grand Central Oyster Bar, a longtime advertiser on WFAN, which was a sponsor of the anniversary broadcast, and its executive chef Sandy Ingber served seafood delicacies to the broadcasters, producers and sales staff. Cirillo World is also publicist for Hamden, Connecticut-based CRN International's Dick Stockton podcast.
