Controversial Teen Book To Remain In Fairfield Library: Report

"Let's Talk About It: The Teen's Guide to Sex, Relationships, and Being a Human" had been the focus of parental concern in recent weeks.

FAIRFIELD, CT — "Let's Talk About It: The Teen's Guide to Sex, Relationships, and Being a Human," a graphic novel that had been the focus of parental concern in recent weeks, will reportedly remain in the Fairfield Library's Teen Section.

The library's Board of Trustees reached a unanimous decision on the book this week; additionally, access to the book will not be restricted, reported the Fairfield Citizen.

Several local parents had sought to either have the book moved to the main portion of the library, restrict access to it, or have it removed altogether, arguing that the book's adult themes were not appropriate for many teens.
