CVS on Black Rock Turnpike Robbed of Prescription Pills: Police

The robbery occurred Friday afternoon, and Fairfield police are looking for the suspect.

Fairfield, CT - The Fairway Plaza CVS Pharmacy at 1968 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield was robbed of a large amount of prescription pills Friday afternoon, according to police.

The robbery occurred at about 1:30 p.m. when a white male entered the store and demanded prescription pills, threatening violence if he didn't get them.

He did not display a weapon and no injuries were reported, police wrote in a Facebook post.

After receiving a bunch of pills, he is believed to have fled on foot.

White male in his late 20s or early 30s. Clean-shaven, however, he may have facial hair under his chin only. Last seen wearing black pants and a long sleeved black shirt, carrying a black backpack and wearing black glasses with a blue reflection. He was also seen wearing a beige a baseball cap with a round logo on the front.

"Anyone with information on this individual's identity is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department Detective Bureau at (203) 254-4840. All calls may remain anonymous."
