Danger in the crosswalk

Last night a hit and run driver ran over and killed our family dog, his name was Henry. My son was injured trying to save him and he also was almost run over. He was laying on the road after diving to save his dog and was able to smell the trucks tires as he sped away! I live on the corner of New England Ave And Holland Hill Road. Most cars just tap the brakes and go flying through the intersection. Some not even slowing down. This morning I counted 70 vehicles blow right through. Will it take a childs death to get some action at this corner!
