Driver Taken To Hospital After Rollover In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A driver was taken to a hospital after a rollover Tuesday in Fairfield.

The incident occurred on North Benson Road south of the entrance to Fairfield University, the Fairfield Fire Department said about 4:30 p.m. on Facebook. A picture of the crash that accompanied the Facebook post showed a Jeep on its side, as well as an SUV in the background that had mostly left the road and rolled up a nearby grassy slope.

The driver was brought to the hospital as a precaution, according to fire officials.
