DUI Driver Causes Crash Involving Police Cruiser: Fairfield PD
Police say an intoxicated driver caused a three-car accident early Sunday morning in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police say an intoxicated driver caused a three-car accident that involved a police cruiser early Sunday morning. The crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on April 1. Police say a vehicle operated by Seth Shepard, 26, collided with a car stopped at the intersection of Post Road at Sanford Street. The second vehicle then then struck the rear of a patrol car as a result of the collision, according to police. No injuries were reported.
Shepard was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and following too close.
