DUI Hit-And-Run With Injuries On Busy Fairfield Road: Police

FAIRFIELD, CT — A driver fled — but was eventually arrested — after a recent crash involving injuries that occurred just outside the Fairfield University campus, according to police.

The incident took place late Thursday, not long before midnight, in the 1400 block of North Benson Road, north of the main entrance to Fairfield University, police said. The crash involved injuries, and airbags were deployed, according to police, who said the striking vehicle fled north, despite heavy front-end damage.

Will Parisi, 21, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, police said.
