Film and Screenwriting Workshop @ Fairfield Public Library

The Fairfield Public Library is offering a
six-week writing workshop, Contemporary
Film Studies and Screenwriting:  Genres
of Modern Cinema
.  The series will
begin on September 18 and continue September 25, October 2, October 9 and
October 25 and November 6.  The workshop
begins at 7 p.m. at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

The course will focus on different genres that are popular in modern
cinema.  Participants will work to
develop their own screenplay or simply begin to cultivate ideas for what could
eventually become a treatment or screenplay.
This is a continuation of January’s “Contemporary Screenwriting and Film
Studies” (not a pre-requisite)

Fairfield resident Jon DeBenedictus is a recruiter and advisor for Sacred Heart
