On Monday, September 24th at 7pm, The Friends will hold their Annual General Membership Meeting and Reception at the Fairfield Museum and History Center.
Following a short business meeting to vote on the proposed slate of 2012-2013 Board of Directors, there will be a wine reception and a special performance by Prevailing Winds, a woodwind quintet that has performed at the Fairfield Public Library for decades.
Prevailing Winds is preparing a potpourri of music for your enjoyment at this meeting, so, please join us! The members of Prevailing Winds, all Fairfield Country residents, are Ralph Kirmser (oboe), Richard Epstein (bassoon), Janet Atherton (clarinet), Kathie Sumrow (flute), and Stewart Edelstein (French horn).
