Please join us on Thursday, January 26th at 7pm in the Memorial Room at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Post Road, Fairfield, CT to hear Anthony Silver, MS, BCIA-EEG, Director of Gray Matters, family therapist, board certified neurofeedback clinician and Connecticut’s only provider of NASA designed neurofeedback technology for children with ADHD. Joining him will be Geraldine Zatcoff, M.S.Ed., M.S., C.N.S. A fitness and wellness expert, she has Masters Degrees in both Exercise Science & Wellness and Human Nutrition and is certified by both the American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Nutrition. To reserve your place, please call 203 291 0880, or email anthonysilver@graymattersct.com
The discussions will include: understanding how children with different needs impact the family; new tools in diagnosis - including the use of the latest technology in QEEG (brain mapping); how neurofeedback can re-train the brain to reduce or eliminate the need for medication; and why tackling the causes of childhood difficulties is more effective than simply treating the symptoms.
The evening will include a demonstration of neurofeedback and a Q&A. Neurofeedback is a treatment option for ADHD and anxiety, and sleep disorders.
