Little League introduced the Intermediate (50/70) division a few years ago. The division is open to 11, 12 and 13 year old players. It is played on a field slightly larger than the younger Little League divisions and provides an “intermediate” step between the small field and the full size field played on in high school. The Intermediate division adds all the live ball rules of real baseball with leading, pitcher pick-offs, balks, etc.
