Fairfield Elementary Schools Rank Among State's Best

Seven elementary schools in Fairfield were ranked among the top 100 public elementary schools in Connecticut, based on new rankings of the best schools in the state from Niche.com.

Here’s how they placed:

• Osborn Hill School — No. 62
• Sherman School — No. 65
• Dwight Elementary School — No. 75
• Burr Elementary School — No. 77
• Stratfield School — No. 81
• Holland Hill Elementary School — No. 90
• Mill Hill School — No. 99

According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
