Fairfield Firefighters Rescue Kitten From Tree
The frightened kitten was stranded about 24 feet up in a tree.

You may have seen the scenario played out on TV or in the movies several times, but on Wednesday morning it was a reality when a Fairfield firefighter rescued a frightened kitten that was stranded up in a tree, the Connecticut Post reports.
Firefighter Erik Hubbell climbed the ladder to bring the kitten, which was about 24 feet up in a tree on Melville Avenue, back down to safety, according to the Post.
The kitten, which wasn’t wearing a collar or any tags, hung out briefly with the firefighters and then took off for the woods, according to the Post.
