Fairfield Garden Club To Host 2026 Spring Flower Show In May
The event is scheduled to take place at the Fairfield University Bookstore, 1499 Post Road.
FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Garden Club will host its 2026 Spring Flower Show on May 1 and 2 at the Fairfield University Bookstore. The free, two-day exhibition is themed “Home Sweet Home: Back to Nature” and marks the club’s first flower show in a decade.
Organizers say the event is intended to highlight the work of the club’s more than 150 members in gardening, floral design and conservation, while inviting the public to learn more about the group’s community efforts.
The theme draws inspiration from Mabel Osgood Wright, the club’s first president in 1915 and an early voice in the American conservation movement. Quotations from her 1894 book, The Friendship of Nature, will be featured in the show’s schedule materials.
