Giants Cheer Squads Head To Mass To Compete For Regional Championship

The Fairfield Giants Jr Midget and Jr Pee Wee Cheerleaders are set to head to New England Regional D2 Championship this Saturday in Springfield, Mass. The cheer squads earned their place to compete by winning the Southern CT and State competitions as the 1st and 2nd place winners in their respective divisions.

The Jr Midget squad will compete this weekend for the right to attend the Pop Warner National Championship at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida December 7th-12th and the chance to take home the 2014 Pop Warner National Title.

Giants cheer has competed at the Nationals twice in the last 6 years, winning the National Championship on 2008 and a 5th place finish in 2012.
