Fairfield Homeowner Chases Away Burglar: Police

A strange male entered a Fairfield garage and tried to steal a vehicle before he was interrupted, police said.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield homeowner found a would-be thief in their garage this week and chased the person away, police said. The incident occurred about 10:30 a.m. Monday on Judd Street, according to police, who said a strange male entered the garage and tried to steal a vehicle before he was interrupted. The burglar fled northbound on Judd Street in a white Infinity that is also believed to have been involved in a separate vehicle theft Monday at Little Pub in the 2100 block of Black Rock Turnpike, police said.
