Fairfield Library to Host Art Design Lecture
Artist Liz Tardif and interior designer Connie Cooper will discuss incorporating original art into your home decor on November 29.

From the Fairfield Public Library: Have you purchased art work you love but find it is still leaning against a wall in a closet or the basement because you don’t know where to place it? Join us when artist Liz Tardif and interior designer Connie Cooper discuss incorporating original art into your home decor. Learn about purchasing art; how to mix contemporary art with traditional decor and vice versa; how to design an interior space around an art collection; and how to add art to your interior design.
Also learn about framing art to work with other design elements. Discover how to turn your home into a living space that showcases your art and your unique style and personality. Join us on Tuesday, November 29 at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.
Liz Tardif has served as a curator for the Bruce S. Kershner Gallery at the Fairfield Public Library for over five years. She is an art advisor and the founder of Cherry Street Art, a resource for art buyers and collectors. A lifelong artist, Liz works primarily in acrylic and oil mediums.

Connie Cooper studied interior design at Michigan State University and earned a bachelor of fine arts in textile design at Rhode Island School of Design. Her business, Connie Cooper Designs, is a full-service interior design firm located in Westport, CT.
