Fairfield Ludlowe Football Players Boycott Practice: Report

Some players on the team reportedly refused to participate in a practice after watching post-game film of a 61-27 loss.

FAIRFIELD, CT — On the heels of a 61-27 loss to Greenwich, the seventh straight loss to open the season, several members of the Fairfield Ludlowe football team refused to participate in Monday’s practice after a post-game film session, according to the Connecticut Post.

Athletic Director Todd Parness told the Post the incident led him to hold a meeting with the players, Falcons coach Vin Camera and the coaching staff to get everyone back on the same page.

The Falcons have been outscored by their opponents 289-92 so far this season, according to the CIAC website.
